The X-Keys O-Trac from PI Engineering is a robustly built trackball with a long history of durability, reliability and performance, carrying on the legacy of the PC-Trac Trackballs formerly manufactured by Clearly Superior Technologies.

The X-Keys O-Trac Trackball offers a gently-angled profile that serves as a natural hand rest. The gradual curve of the body mirrors the natural contour of the hand and is designed to easily accommodate both right and left-hand users, as well as multiple hand sizes.

Unlike most trackballs on the market, the high density phenolic trackball in the O-Trac has significant inertia. This provides far more tactile feedback than that normally offered by mass market trackballs, while still offering smooth response to even a light touch. The PC-Trac also offers "dynamic acceleration" which increases distance covered proportional to the speed of rotation. This feature ensures fine control as well as offering accurate rapid movement when required. (See the Features section on the Detailed Specifications Page for a deeper explanation of this feature.)

The O-Trac Trackball offers both "middle click" and "drag lock" functions (see the Features for more details

X-keys Trackballs work right out of the box, no software is required. If you wish to assign different functions to the buttons the manufacturer recommends using X-Mouse Button Control.

The PC-Trac from Clearly Superior Technologies is a robustly built trackball line offering options and features not readily available in other trackballs. The low profile of the PC-Trac acts as a natural hand rest mirroring the natural contour of your hand and is designed to easily accommodate both right and left-hand users, as well as different size hands.

This feature ensures fine control as well as offering accurate rapid movement when required. (See the Features section on the Detailed Specifications Page for a deeper explanation of this feature.)

PC-Trac basic models offer both "middle click" and "drag lock" functions (see the Features for more details.) On the Pro models this button only supports "middle click" but there is downloadable software available which enables users to customize their trackball features. There is also a 5-button model which offers 2 input jacks for the connection of optional external switches.

Kensington has taken their venerable Expert Mouse Optical to a new level with the new Expert Mouse Wireless Trackball. Longtime or novice trackball users now have the freedom of wireless available in a full-size trackball with the additional option of selecting whether to connect via Bluetooth 4.0 LE or traditional 2.4 GHZ wireless using a USB nano receiver. This unique dual-connection feature makes the Expert Mouse Wireless Trackball a good choice for those with a limited number of USB ports or who wish to use the trackball on multiple systems, employing Bluetooth on one and using the RF Receiver on a second or non-Bluetooth compatible system.

The Expert Mouse Wireless Trackball employs Diamond Eye optical technology for smooth, precise tracking and features the well-known Kensington Scroll Ring for quick scroll access on web pages and within lengthy documents. Four large buttons provide easy access to primary functions and can be easily customized to personal preferences through the Kensington TrackballWorks software. The ambidextrous design easily accommodates both right and left-handed use and includes a detachable rest to aid users in maintaining a more ergonomic neutral wrist alignment.

The n-ABLER PRO Trackball from Pretorian is specifically designed to address the needs of computer users with limited hand control, motor skill difficulties, poor hand-eye coordination, lack of manual dexterity and involuntary muscle spasms. This functionality is packaged in a "Professional" housing that will blend easily into office or classroom environments, reducing undesired attention. The glossy silver upper housing offers limited resistance to hand repositioning and the black buttons feature contrasting white legends for increased visibility.

The n-ABLER PRO Trackball offers the same basic functions (cursor control, left click, right click, double click, and drag lock) as does the standard n-ABLER Trackball but in addition also offers a locking "Pan" function which enables vertical and horizontal scrolling using the trackball without the need to hold down a button. It also features an "Anti-Tremor" function with three settings to enhance cursor control for users experiencing hand tremors of varying degrees. Cursor control is provided by a large 63 mm, free-running ball which responds to minimal effort. To avoid accidental movement the trackball projects only slightly above the housing, with the activation buttons fully recessed to avoid accidental activation as well as to aid users in button targeting. Dual mini-phono jacks permit the attachment of a variety of external switches to provide users with easier access to the Left and Right click functions. Users who find the traditional orientation unsuitable have the option of 'teaching' the trackball to orient itself at 90° increments, freeing the user to change the housing orientation for optimum usage and comfort. The trackball also offers an optional buzzer setting which provides notification as specific functions are activated or deactivated.

The design of the n-ABLER PRO Trackball offers fingertip precision control and requires only minimal hand movement. This can reduce wrist and elbow fatigue, as it requires noticeably less effort. The symmetrical design enables users to work with either hand without having to angle the wrist, and the unit can also be configured for left-handed operation. Its large, integrated hand support/palm rest makes work posture more relaxed and less strained.

Note: The latest release of iOS13 for Apple portable devices includes support for USB Pointing Devices. This means that virtually all of the Pretorian Mouse Replacement solutions can now be used with iPads and iPhones that have iOS13 or newer. Connection to the portable device requires a "camera adapter cable". Because the mousing device will be powered by the phone or tablet it is preferable to use one with pass-through charging so the portable device can charge while the mousing device is attached and in use.

The ProTouch multi-touch device from Sun-Flex is a central pointing device with no moving parts. The ProTouch sits in front of any straight-edged keyboard that does not have palm supports, and is ready to use after plugging into any USB port (with a quick install period of about 30 seconds). The integrated touchpad allows users to move the screen cursor as they would with any other touchpad. However, with the multitouch gesture technology incorporated into the design of the ProTouch, users can also perform additional functions such as Left Click, Right Click, Scroll, and Zoom. Using the Extended Function unit for Windows 8, gesture features can be extended to application related functions.

The ProTouch is solidly built with aluminum housing and tactile keys for quick access to common functions such as Copy, Paste, Left Click, Right Click, and Double Click. There are separately available models for both Windows 7 (or earlier) and Windows 8.

The RollerMouse Pro3 by Contour Design is a central pointing device which uses a rollerbar instead of a traditional mouse and is designed to sit immediately in front of your keyboard below the space bar. This allows the user to perform all mousing activity inline in the area immediately "below" their keyboard, eliminating the need to reach for a mouse. The RollerMouse Pro3 is ideally suited for workspaces with insufficient room for a mouse in that it frees up space, providing more room for a user with limited available space.

The cursor is moved by rolling a "dowel" or cylindrical control bar with the fingertips to move the cursor "up" and "down", and sliding this bar from side to side for horizontal movement. Once the desired location is achieved, the user can generate a left click by pressing down on the bar (the force required for this is adjustable from ultra-light touch to highly tactile). Five buttons and a scroll wheel are located below the bar to generate left/middle/right clicks, copy, paste and vertical scrolling. There is also a cursor speed button between the copy and paste buttons for ten different speed settings from 600 to 2400 dpi. The Pro3 additionally comes with adjustable keyboard "risers" to lift up conventional and compact single piece keyboards.

The improvements of the RollerMouse Pro3 over the RollerMouse Pro2 include an aluminum metal base for added sturdiness, slightly less width (about 1" less), increased dpi for faster speeds and greater cursor accuracy, a smoother scrolling scroll wheel, and the ability to be used with adjustable or separated keyboards without an additional mat accessory.

Note: Keyboard not included.

This smooth movement, combined with Diamond Eye optical technology, ensures precision level cursor control is available for gaming, photo editing, or everyday work. The Expert Mouse Wired Trackball also features a ScrollRing around the base of the ball, giving users easy access to quick scrolling whenever necessary.

The DXT Ergonomic Mouse 2 from City Ergonomics is a fingertip vertical mouse designed to enable the hand and wrist to adopt a relaxed vertical posture. Control of the mouse is achieved by using the small muscles and joints of the fingers as opposed to the larger muscle groups of the shoulder and arm. The 19-Key USB Numeric Keypad and Optical Mouse from Adesso combines a numeric keypad with a mousing device for those who still need the benefits of a number pad but also need a mouse easily within reach. This device includes a transparent cover for the numeric pad when primarily mousing, so that keys are not accidentally activated during usage. There is a large scroll wheel on the pad when surfing the internet, while the mousing device has 1000 dpi resolution for smooth and accurate cursor control. The keys on the keypad feature a reduced key pitch (i.e. the keycaps and spacing are smaller than on a standard keyboard), allowing the mouse to be a standard size. If the key pitch of the keypad was standard, the mouse would only be usable by users with very large hands.

The Mousetrapper Advance (keyboard not included) is a central pointing device that uses a steering pad mechanism (a hybrid touchpad/treadmill) for cursor control and left-click actions. The silicone-coated, slip-free steering pad requires only finger-tip pressure and minimal dexterity to control the movement of the cursor. (Note that cursor control is achieved on the Mousetrapper by using the fingertips to move the steering pad itself. Compare this functionality with touchpads, where cursor control is achieved by moving the finger tip across a static surface.)

The Mousetrapper's steering pad offers two dimensional scrolling and rich secondary features such as vertical scroll and Back/Forward functions when using a web browser. A left click can be activated anywhere on the steering pad. Buttons around the steering pad provide quick access to double click, left click, right click and middle click functions.

The Mousetrapper Advance features palm supports and has an an attached, flexible gray mat on which to place the keyboard. Like most central pointing devices, the Mousetrapper Advance requires no overextension of the shoulder joint, and can significantly reduce the risk of repetitive strain injuries to the muscles of the shoulder and upper back.

Note: Model SMT407 is DISCONTINUED and on CLEARANCE.
