The shock absorbing effect of the gas spring provides additional comfort when weight is brought to bear on the seat.

The fixed seat offers an infinitely adjustable height range via the gas spring and a forward-locking tilt adjustment ranging from 5° to 20°. The heavy-duty textured black tubular steel base on the RISON Leaning Stool is designed for industrial settings but functions well in many offices, providing strength and stability. Strong nylon glides engage the floor to ensure firm positioning of the seat and the incorporated rollers permit the chair to be easily moved between workstations. The unique design of the base maximizes stability while greatly reducing the risk of tripping for passersby.

Two different cylinder options are available on the RISON so that there is a RISON which is the right height range for everybody. Most will be able to take advantage of models RLS-11113 and RLS-B-11120 (back version) that offer a seat height adjustable from 26" - 35.5" and are suited to heights from about 5'2" up to 6'6". The model RLS-S-11130 is intended for shorter individuals and should accommodate those of heights ranging from 4'5" to 5'5".

The Sunflex OfficeChair HB features classic high-back styling with an adjustable headrest to provide neck support. The seat and back are both equipped with moderately firm cushioning to provide support, with breathable upholstery for comfort while working. Seat pan depth can be adjusted to four positions from 16.7 " - 19.1". The lumbar zone features a natural curve that can be enhanced and firmed up using the inflatable bladder. The top of the backrest on the OfficeChair HB can position between 22 and 24.8 inches above the seat, moving up through 7 positions. The removable 3-D articulating headrest is capable of providing neck support up to 39" above the seat.

For arm support, the OfficeChair HB is equipped with 4-D Armrests that can be adjusted up and down, left and right, forward and back, and swivel (15° in or out). The 908 Adjustable Saddle Chair with Articulating Backrest from Kanewell offers exactly the same ergonomic benefits, adjustment range, and features as available on the 901 series models. However the re-designed width/splay adjustment mechanism on the 908 lets both halves of the seat now move from a central point. This ensures that the backrest always retains a central position, regardless of the saddle spread, splay or tilt. The Kanewell Twin Compact Saddle Chair with Articulating Backrest was developed to provide those of smaller or more slender build with a seating option better suited to their needs. This saddle stool features a comfortable split-saddle seat with the added benefit of splay and tilt adjustment for a personalized fit. For situations where a backrest may be desired* this stool is also equipped with a generously padded height- and angle-adjustable backrest that can also tilt to align to the back. The primary design is very similar to other Kanewell Twin Saddle models, with the saddle offering the same amount of cushioning and the same degree of splay at the front. However, because this seat is specifically intended for those of smaller build, the seat halves do not separate at the rear as on the full-size Kanewell Twin saddles, but rather pivot from a single point at the rear of the saddle to achieve the outward splay at the front. The EQUSIT Saddle Drafting Chair from ErgoVerse features a heavily padded, tilting, bicycle-style seat mounted to an elevated heavy duty steel frame. A gas spring provides a cushioned seat height range from 27.75" to 36.6", sufficient to provide a suitable seating height for most individuals working at elevated workstations. The wide back features 2" thick cushioning and has independent height and angle adjustments to optimize the comfort and ergonomic positioning.

Two footrest options are available. Model ESDC-83015 features a large 22.8" diameter heavy steel footring that includes a convenient height-adjustable (minimum of 9" above the floor) 360° fixed footrest. Model ESDC-F-83016 features a folding height-adjustable (also to a minimum height of 9") 120° footrest with angle adjustment. For safety, the steel footplate has an aggressively treaded surface. The NOSTND Perching Comfort PLUS Saddle Seat from ErgoVerse is designed to position the torso and arms as close as possible to a raised workstation, particularly those built on top of base cabinets or shelves. Unlike the seats on a leaning seat or traditional stool, the large plush saddle on the NOSTND is designed to be straddled. Seated posture on the NOSTND is more upright, with the heels positioned behind the bend of the knees, rather than extended forward of the knees as they would be in a leaning position. This posture allows individuals to move in much closer to flat-fronted work surfaces than might otherwise be possible. As a result, the NOSTND Perching Comfort PLUS Saddle Seat helps to reduce the risk of overreach injuries to the shoulders and back, and the risk of injury to the muscles of the sides and mid-section caused by sitting sideways along the base of the workstation and twisting at the waist to get close enough to its surface. By providing a centrally supported seat that bears the upper body weight, the NOSTND also helps to reduce the load generally borne by the feet and legs. Overall fatigue, and the risk of strain on the joints and tissues of the lower limbs can be greatly reduced.

Both the saddle style seat and the large back feature 3" cushioning; and both are height adjustable. The height of the seat can be adjusted between 23.25" and 28.75". The height adjustment range of the back is determined by the seat position. A convenient handle and large rollers on the rear glides let the NOSTND be moved with ease when required.
