The EQUSIT Saddle Drafting Chair from ErgoVerse features a heavily padded, tilting, bicycle-style seat mounted to an elevated heavy duty steel frame. A gas spring provides a cushioned seat height range from 27.75" to 36.6", sufficient to provide a suitable seating height for most individuals working at elevated workstations. The wide back features 2" thick cushioning and has independent height and angle adjustments to optimize the comfort and ergonomic positioning.

Two footrest options are available. Model ESDC-83015 features a large 22.8" diameter heavy steel footring that includes a convenient height-adjustable (minimum of 9" above the floor) 360° fixed footrest. International office seating manufacturer Interstuhl has teamed up with GPS pioneer Garmin to take active sitting to the next level. Until now active sitting required a conscious decision to move throughout the day. Deploying seating options that naturally encourage individuals to move was done to encourage movement but still relied to a great extent on the user consciously making the effort.

Interstuhl and Garmin worked together to create the S4.0 Active Sitting Solution, a small high tech device that is attached to the underside of the seat from where it monitors and records chair movement throughout the day. The data continuously transmits either directly to a Smart watch or to a PC using the included USB antenna/receiver. The supporting app lets viewers physically see the timing, amount, degree, and direction of movements they are making throughout the day. Users create personal profiles for monitoring their movement and the APP provides reminders and recommendations for office workouts. With a seat height range of 23.75" - 33.1", the STEPL Drafting Chair from ErgoVerse can provide those working at fixed-height elevated workstations a stable and comfortable seat. The STEPL features a wide seat and back rest, both with 2" thick padding for comfort. The angles of the seat and back rest are independently adjustable, with the back rest also adjustable in height, features that let each person to position support where it is most beneficial. Seat height adjustment is via a standard gas spring lift that also provides a shock-absorbing effect.

Note: If the concept of movement and upright stance have appeal but the cost of the Swingfit is prohibitive there is the option of considering the Swing or its economical cousin, the Salli Sway. These models offer the same movement and upright stance benefits of the SwingFit without the adjustability of the split saddle.

The Salli Tilting Twin features Salli's patented split saddle seat design. This seat is designed to correctly position the user in such a way that their back is moved into an optimum upright posture. Weight is transferred onto the sitting bones and off of soft tissue, reducing uncomfortable pressure points. The lever-activated Tilting feature provides a forward tilt option to further improve back posture for those desiring a greater forward tilt or who, in the course of their work, lean forward repeatedly or for extended periods.
