The 501-15 Series is an economical, width-adjustable option for the base of an electric workstation. The Extender Rod (Drive Shaft) connecting the two legs can telescope from 40.9" (104 cm) to 70.8" (180 cm), allowing this base to accommodate a wide range of tabletops. This unique telescoping feature means that purchasers must also supply a suitable privacy panel which matches the frame width. Industry standard twist-lock connectors are included with the frame (see image in gallery).

The height adjusts from 26" to 46.5" at a rate of 1" per second, with a lift capacity of 154 lb. An Anti-Squeeze Protection System will automatically engage if the resistance increases noticeably while moving down. High quality oversized levelers accent the feet of the base.

Due to its innovative adjustable width feature, this base will support a wide variety of stock work surfaces and most custom tops. The entire base is powder coated in an attractive silver color.

A 2-leg frame with a rectangular top is the most popular option. THe 501-27 frame comes in widths 32 7/8" wide to 67 3/4" wide. If an L-shaped workstation is preferred, the 3-leg model (available in silver only) which has a 59 13/16" wide front and 56 7/8" wide return could be considered.

The One Touch Freestand from ErgoTech Group is an freestanding electric motorized desk add-on unit for creating a sit-stand workspace using an existing desk. The Freestand has two worksurface areas: one upper surface for placing documents or other desk objects and one lower surface for keyboard and mouse. Single and Dual monitor mounting kits can then be added to mount monitors using a VESA plate mechanism.

The Freestand holds up to two 27" monitors at once (with a combined weight capacity up to 100 lbs total weight on both surfaces) and has a height adjustable range of 20". Uptown Table Tops feature dual 3" grommet holes and are equipped with threaded steel inserts for effortless installation on the iMovr UpStage 30 frames using a single Phillips screwdriver. The 47" and 59" tops will fit the UpStage 30 Narrow frame while the 71" and 83" tops are equipped to match the UpStage 30 Wide frames. The metal inserts ensure a well-secured top as well as the ability to remove and replace tops without wear on the mounting points. The Tablet/Document Holder for WorkFit-S from Ergotron is a simple accessory that adds functionality to the basic WorkFit-S models (ie. those without the upper worksurface). The holder is secured against the keyboard supports and positions the tablet or documents at a fixed angle for improved viewing. The holder will accommodate items up to 0.8" thick and has a surface 10.7" H x 7.25 W. It can support up to 2.2 lbs.
Note: When this accessory is added to the WorkFit-S the total weight capacity of the workstation is reduced by 1 lb.

The SV Sit-Stand Combo Extender from Ergotron adds an additional 17" of horizontal reach to the wall-mounted StyleView Combo Arms. The additional extension distance permits a much greater degree of articulation and lateral movement so users are better able to optimize the positioning capabilities of the Combo Arm.

The new ThermoTread GT Desk Treadmill from iMovR is the first treadmill ever to be designed specifically for "Working While Walking". With the move towards active working the ThermoTread is the ideal treadmill solution for pairing with a sit-stand desk to create a true Walking Workstation.

Rather than attempting to adapt a traditional running treadmill to an office environment iMovR went directly to the drawing board and designed the ThermoTread GT from the ground up. The result is a treadmill built to suit the needs of the office environment--smaller footprint, lower profile, reduced noise levels, lower energy consumption, and most important of all-- safer.

The 1" thick Bakelite deck on the ThermoDesk GT provides a firm surface ideal for walking. The deck is supported by six compression shocks which allow the surface to absorb impact and reduce impact stress on the joints. The convenient touch-control interface of the ThermoDesk GT is placed on the desk surface for easy access and provides users with a full compliment of options for customizing the treadmill to their specific weight, stride length, speed, and desired working pattern. The multiscreen interface enables users to quickly navigate through all settings and adjust them as desired. Up to five user profiles can be stored for fingertip recall. Future software upgrades can easily be downloaded through the integrated USB port.

The upcoming iMovR CloudStation will connect the ThermoTread GT to the "Internet of Things", enabling detailed control of every aspect of the workstation environment by monitoring and controlling office device energy consumption, monitoring and recording treadmill usage, and providing maintenance data from anywhere in the world. It will also enable CloudStation users to access their personal profiles at any CloudStation-equipped ThermoTread GT in the world, offering a boundary-free health monitoring network.

The manufacturer recommends that the Thermotread GT Desk Treadmill be placed on a firm non-carpeted flooring surface. Users may wish to purchase the RightSize Premium Under-Treadmill Mat to protect hardsurfaced flooring from potential damage. Placement on carpeted surfaces may result in a "floating" effect and encourages collection of dust and lint within the treadmill. As well, in order to ensure premium performance and to optimize the life of the treadmill, regular lubrication of the treadmill deck is required using a 100% silicone spray such as the EasySpray Treadmill Lubricant.

The Taskmate EZ from HealthPostures is available in two models. The Computer Workstation version includes both an adjustable height work surface and monitor mount. The Surface version does not include the monitor mount but can be used as to elevate a laptop for short term use. The Surface version can also serve well as an adjustable assembly or work surface in industrial applications were individuals of varying height may utilize workstations. Taskmate EZ units are equipped by default with a thru-mount that bolts through the surface of the fixed height desk using a single hole. There is also a clamp mount accessory available that can be used to mount the Taskmate EZ to desks no deeper than 24". Both the work surface as well as the monitor height are independently reconfigurable by physically lifting and moving the unit from one notch to another, providing configuration options in 1.5" increments. The monitor can be attached to any of 14 notches in the vertical column, providing a range of height between keyboard tray and the middle of the monitor of a minimum of 13" and a maximum of 31.5".

The Taskmate EZ is capable of supporting up to 50 pounds, and provides the ability to set the monitor (at its midpoint) from 15" to 33" above the mounting surface. The work surface can be positioned from 2" to 20" above the mounting surface when being used with the monitor support and up to 33" above the mounting point when used without a monitor. The work surface provides an 18" deep x 23.5" wide area for the keyboard, mouse and papers. In idustrial settings it can serve to position tools and equipment at a range of heights. The monitor mount will accommodate monitors with either 75mm and 100mm VESA patterns. Some assembly is required (approximately 5-10 minutes).

The Taskmate Executive from HealthPostures is a modification-free way to create a full sit to stand workstation on any standard desk. This ruggedly constructed freestanding metal unit weighs over 50 lbs, sufficient to provide stability through its full range of movement. Height adjustment is via an electric motor that raises and lowers the monitor(s) and keyboard simultaneously. The upper surface can be adjusted to any point between 5.5" and 18.5" above the mounting surface, with the articulating keyboard arm offering its own independent range of adjustment of 5" to 10" below any upper surface height setting.

The Taskmate is relatively compact, with the base requiring only a 15" wide by 21"deep area on the worksurface. The keyboard tray can be cantilevered to 5" below the desk to 13" above the desk. The keyboard tray has an 18" x 9" area for the keyboard with a mousing zone that extends closer to the body. The tray can also be reversed for right or left handed mousing. An optional wrist rest is included with the tray.

The Taskmate Go from HealthPostures can retrofit any standard desk to become a sit-stand workstation. The unit uses a robust, well-designed clamping mechanism that can accommodate desks up to 2.0" thick. A single release lever unlocks the counterbalanced spring-assisted mechanism to permit simultaneous adjustement of both the monitor and keyboard. There are 10 available height options all of which are locked upon the release of the adjustment lever (unlike some units which do not have a locking option and can then "drift" downwards when weight is placed on the keyboard tray). The VESA compatible monitor mount can be attached at 6 different height settings, with the distance between the keyboard tray and the middle of the monitor adjustable from a minimum of 6.5" to a maximum of 20".

The Taskmate Go supports up to 35 lbs of weight, and provides a full 17.5" range of vertical movement, meaning the keyboard tray can be positioned from 4" below to 13.5" above the desk surface. The upper platform worksurface is 19.0" x 9.0". There are two keyboard tray options. The Large Tray is a one-piece tray which is 30" x 12". For those wanting a smaller tray with a separate mousing area, the Swing-Out Tray has a 19" x 7.5" area for the keyboard with a separate swing-out mousing area which positions closer to the body and can be reversed for right or left-handed use. An optional (but not recommended) wrist rest is included with the Swing-Out Tray. Either keyboard tray model can be adjusted to a negative tilt of 5 or 10 degrees. The unit ships largely preassembled (apart from the tray) which minimizes setup time.
