This keyboard features easy to target 0.75" x 0.75" keys, and is the only keyboards which offers full 101 key keyboard functionality with a large key keycap. All BigKeys keyboards are hard-wired to be switchable between ABC and QWERTY layouts, and you can rearrange the keycaps to match custom layouts you may have created in your operating system or software. The Function Keys are generated by pressing and holding the 'F' key and then the number i.e. "F" (as a modifier) and "3" becomes F3. Pressing and releasing the F key generates the usual letter F. Available accessories include protective skinguards (to prevent against damage from spills, etc.) and rigid plastic keyguards are available for individuals needing further targeting assistance. All keyboards have a grey housing, but color options on the keys are as follows: White Legends on Black Keys, or Black Legends on Yellow Keys.

The Washable Super Compact Mini Keyboard with Cursorpoint from Solidtek is designed for use in wet or dirty environments which would render traditional input devices unusable. Fully enclosed in silicone, it meets IP68 protection standards for dust and moisture. The narrow 9" footprint of this keyboard means that it can be used wherever space is at a premium. However, the resulting reduction in key pitch spacing (14.6 mm, or 75% of standard) could make touch typing difficult. With the possible exception of those with extremely small hands, most will find it difficult to position their fingers over adjacent keys in the usual way. Adopting a two-fingered typing style can reduce the potential of overshooting the targeted keys. This keyboard is consequently more suitable for quick spurts of limited data entry than for extensive typing.

The incorporated cursorpoint mousing device is located directly below the spacebar and offers full fingertip cursor control. Large left and right click buttons flank it on both sides.

Note: The entire keypad has a raised outer lip running around it which in some environments could allow liquid to pool.

The Super Compact Mini Keyboard from Solidtek features keycaps with a horizontal spacing of just 15 mm, approximately 78% of the normal. The keycaps are also shallower in height, resulting in the rows being spaced just 14 mm apart, approximately 73% of normal. This reduced spacing makes the keyboard not only narrower but also shallower (front to back). The fully-functioning membrane keys have a shorter-than-average travel and include a scissors mechanism that enhances the smoothness and stability of keyswitches. Despite including the smallest "physically functioning" keyboard available, it also includes both an embedded numeric keypad to offer full 101 key functionality. The Shift, Enter, Space Bar, Caps Lock, Tab, and all bottom and top row keys are all significantly smaller than on a standard keyboard.

The narrow key spacing and small size of the key caps make the Super Compact Mini primarily suitable for everyday two-handed use by children or those with smaller-than-average hands. For one-handed typing by those with average to smaller hands the compact width can reduce the movement necessary to access all of the keys. However those with larger finger tips will still have difficulty activating just a single key and would be better served by a compact keyboard with full-size keycaps and standard key spacing.
