Dual rectangular steel tube construction and extra-thick padding on the larger than average seat are combined with easy adjustability to create a chair that is both functional and durable. This chair offers users the option of sitting at a greater height than traditional chairs, greatly reducing the stress which repeated sitting and standing can put on the knees. An adjustable footrest provides relaxation for the feet and lower legs. For larger users who are working in a warehouse or assembly environment with raised counters this seat can enable them to reduce the load on their legs and joints while still being able to reach the work surface. The chair also folds for storage.

The HYSIIT Sit-Stand Saddle Stool from Mey Chair Systems creates an upright posture that encourages upper body movement, better and deeper breathing, and improved overall circulation. This posture also enables greater reach and range of movement in the upper body, and makes it easy to return to a fully standing position.

The saddle stool design also creates a wider stance for the user, providing a secure seated position that offers relief to the joints of the legs and feet. The saddle stool tilts forward up to 15°, rotating the pelvis forward and resulting in a more natural and comfortable alignment of the back. The full 360° of free rotation enables users to swivel easily between work surfaces without the need to twist and turn at the waist. The stool can be positioned at any height from 26" to 35.8", and the easily adjusted gas cylinder creates a cushioning effect that gives slightly when the user sits down, reducing the impact on the lower back.

Self-braking castors permit the stool to roll freely but will brake when the user stands up. This practical feature ensures that the seat remains in the same position the user left it. Long-wearing woven fabric over foam padding provides a breathable seat for better comfort.

The LOBAK Sit-Stand Stools from Mey Chair Systems are ideal as temporary perching seats. The short raised back encourages users to sit upright on the seat, adopting a posture that encourages correct spinal alignment. The tilt-adjustable seat also offers users the option of using the LOBAK as a leaning stool.

The firm polyurethane foam seat is waterproof and highly resistant to cuts or punctures, with raised ridges to encourage air flow for a cooler surface. Height adjustment is accomplished with a gas spring that also serves as a shock absorber by providing a cushioning effect when the user sits down. The angle of the seat is adjustable from 3° to 17°, enabling the user to find the most comfortable position.

The LOBAK Sit-Stand Stool is available in two models. Model 11002 features a locking clamp that secures the seat in an upright position but easily permits the base to fold up against the seat support for storage. Seat height on the 11002 ranges from 23.2" to 30.7" and is suitable for users of average height. Model 11050 features the same seat on a chromed steel, fixed (non-folding) base. With a seat height range from 24.4" up to 34.6", this model is still suitable for most average height users but can also comfortably meet the requirements of taller users up to approximately 6'4".

The Pivot Seat from Focal Upright Furniture builds on the proven designs of the Mobis and Mogo seats by incorporating features from both of these models.The rounded pivot base ensures that the user is actively engaged with the Pivot throughout the day. The Pivot Seat offers a much greater degree of movement than the Mobis as users can also freely rotate up to 360º, leaning or pivoting as desired. As with the Mogo there is no fixed base to force the user to remain facing a specific direction - rotating or pivoting to another direction can be done at will. The rubber "Octogrip Overmold" on the base ensures that a user is secure in whatever posture they adopt. However, unlike the Mogo which cannot stand on its own, the Pivot Seat features a weighted base which automatically returns the seat to an upright position - ready for the next use.

The bowl-shaped weighted base of the Pivot Seat also exerts a subtle force, encouraging a user to maintain a degree of active tension in the core muscles to maintain the desired optimum position. This also means that users who wish to be active while sitting can easily employ the range of movement the Pivot offers to achieve this goal. The wide range of height adjustment and the ability to angle the seat by tilting forward enables the user to easily choose between active sitting and leaning (or any posture between).

The thick EVA Foam cushion on the Pivot Seat features built-in sitz bone contours for support and a waterfall edge to reduce pressure on the upper legs and promote healthy circulation.

NOTE: ErgoCanada does not recommend the Pivot Seat for use on hardsurface floors such as hardwood, linoleum or tile. Users may find that the base "walks" away from them as they lean and move. It does not have any issues on any type of carpeted floor or mat.
