Equipped with special braking castors, HNDSFREE Saddle Seats also roll freely when occupied but stop moving as soon as weight is removed. This innovative feature enhances the overall safety of the work environment, and helps maintain focus on the task at hand.

Both models of the HNDSFREE Saddle Seat feature easily cleaned Black Imitation Leather upholstery and a chromium-plated steel base for durability.

The two HNDSFREE Saddle Seat models offer different styles of saddle. The saddle on the standard non-backrest model is a more traditional saddle shape, deeply dished and with overall larger dimensions, especially in the depth. This makes it better suited to those with larger builds. The back rest model has a saddle that is shallower in depth (front to back) and also flatter, making it more suitable to average or smaller individuals or where a more traditional stool height may occasionally be required.

Note: Sitting on a Saddle Seat creates a seating elevation higher than a standard chair. Saddle stools are therefore not generally recommended for use at a fixed-height office desk. While all three positions reduce the weight load and stress on the joints of the legs and feet, the leaning and perching positions are especially beneficial as they make it possible to quickly move back to a fully standing position with minimal effort.

Designed for portability, and weighing only 14.3 lbs, the FYLDST lets individuals easily move their seat with them between locations or job sites. This stool offers an extended range of seat height adjustment from 21.25" to 35.4" which will accommodate most heights and is rated to support 264 lbs. Heavy rectangular tube steel construction, simple folding hinges, and handwheel adjustment of seat height mean this chair will last through years of heavy use. The fixed, formed polyurethane seat angles slightly down at 10°, providing a comfortable resting place when needed, well suited to perching or leaning. The textured surface of the seat facilitates airflow and makes the seat feel softer, improving comfort.

The MVMNT Foldable Perching Saddle Seat from ErgoVerse is a non-swiveling, folding saddle seat designed for smaller or average sized individuals working at standard or elevated workstations.

The saddle design keeps the toes either in line with the knees (which are splayed and drawn back toward the hips), or even further back - below the hips, rather than extended forward of the knees as they would be on a leaning stool.
