Sit Stand Storable Duet Arm from Waterloo has been released!

ErgoCanada.com is pleased to announce the release of a storable version of the proven Waterloo Duet Sit Stand arm. This new series features a 23" storage track which permits the tray mounted to be stored under the worksurface.

This arm is the best option for providing excellent range of height adjustment, stability of worksurface, storability and durability at an affordable price (far less than motorized solutions which can be slow and cumbersome by comparison). The Duet arm has totally new, sleek design with a built-in tilt control release allowing +/- 15° worksurface adjustment and a field adjustable coil spring adjusts for load counter balance.

The slim (only 0.75" wide) dual crossbar arm design ensures that your knees and legs have plenty of room - better than any single central support arm. To adjust the height simply use the paddle release to release the lock, and adjust the platform to the desired height. Make your own custom tray or purchase our special 12" deep Duet Trays (in the Trays category). The 39" tray is wide enough for a keyboard, mouse, phone and notepad - a complete desk available for use while sitting or standing.

New Products from BakkerElkhuizen - the Ergo-Q 260 Portable Laptop Stand and the FlexDesk Adjustable Writing Surface

The Ergo-Q 260 (pictured at left) is very similar to the 220 series with the added feature that the inline document holder folds down to provide occasional access when needed to the laptop keyboard. The range of height adjustment (12 cm) is slightly less than the 220 but still more than the average with most laptop stands.

The FlexDesk (at right) is the only adjustable writing surface on the market which you can pull a full 5.5" towards you when you want to use it and then simply slide it back up to store it when not in use. The sturdy steel design is stable and does not require any cumbersome 'feet' when the surface is extended, making no demands on your worksurface. The writing surface is a sturdy heavy-duty acrylic that ensures a solid smooth writing surface. A thin foam strip prevents documents from sliding off the surface. Finally, an easy access raised tab is centrally located to provide a convenient grip point when pulling the writing surface down and returning it to the retracted position.

The Basic model offer a more economical solution for those not requiring height adjustment, while the Adjustable model offers the additional feature of 3 height and tilt settings.

ErgoCanada.com is excited to be handling the FooTime Footmouse and Programmable Pedal by Bili, Inc. This product is a complete hands-free mousing replacement offering cursor control, regular clicks and additional programmable actions.

The unit works plug and play out of the box with a vertical scroll wheel (orange wheel, lower left), left click (red button, lower centre), double left click (red button, lower right), right click (red button, upper right) and 2 programmable buttons (yellow, upper centre and left) which can be programmed once the driver is installed for various functions. The user can also make all 5 buttons programmable by toggling a yellow 'enable programming button' on the side of the unit. The buttons are 1.5" in diameter and have a crisp tactile mechanical switch.

Cursor movement is achieved by sliding your foot into the 'slipper' which has an optical sensor on the underside, and moving the slipper around on an oversized 'footmouse' pad which is 15.5" wide and 11" deep. The 'slipper' is 4.25" wide by 7" long and has an adjustable velcro strap to ensure any size foot is accommodated.
