Why push a mouse around when you can just point? Cirque's patented GlidePoint technology makes it easier than to have effective, efficient cursor control. Simply glide your finger over Cirque Easy Cat's surface and gently tap on the pad or click on the buttons to perform all mouse functions.

Very little wrist motion and no touch pressure is required, making Easy Cat and Easy Cat USB one of the most comfortable and affordable input devices on the market. Plus, its solid-state design keeps Cirque Easy Cat working without breakdowns -- there are no moving parts to clean! Want to eliminate pronation when mousing? Use the touchpad in a vertical orientation without impairing its functionality.

Both 'left' and 'right' click functions can be activated by tapping on designated areas of the pad. It's easy to detect the 'right' click area of the pad thanks to the subtle change of pad texture and colour. Double-tap and hold your finger on the pad, or hold the left button as your finger glides, to grab, drag, and highlight any item on-screen. Activate vertical scroll by simply gliding a finger along the right edge of the touchpad. The GlideExtend edge extending feature makes it easy to keep moving the cursor after you've run into the edge of the touchpad.

Cirque's capacitive touch technology provides complete navigation control of any graphical interface, packed in a space-saving, low-friction, durable touchpad. The sophisticated sensor system responds to the most precise finger movements.

Serial Model with PS/2 Adapter

• Left Tap Zone -- Left or right 'click' simply by tapping your finger in the main area or upper right corner of the pad. The right "click" area is marked on the pad surface with a change of color and texture. The two buttons can also be used to "click'.
• Right tap zone (Driver Required for use on Macintosh) -- Secondary mouse clicks provide quick access to submenus. These can be activated by tapping a finger in the pad's upper right corner.
• Vertical / Wheel-mouse scroll (Driver Required for use on Macintosh) -- Activate vertical scrolling by simply gliding a finger along the right touchpad edge. No more pausing to click-click-click the scroll bars.
• Drag, draw, highlight -- Just double-tap and hold your finger on the pad, or hold the left 'click' button as your finger glides.
• GlideExtend -- Hold your place on-screen when you reach the pad's edge. The area is marked on the pad surface with a change of texture -- no more running off the mouse pad!

This product functions as a standard USB compliant two button mouse.

• GlideExtend - Continued movement when the edge of the touchpad is reached by lifting and repositioning the finger to continue motion.
• "Control-click" functionality with the right button and the corner tap zone.

Mac OS X:
OS X provides the following features without third party driver installation.

• Wheel mouse scrolling (vertical scroll)
• GlideExtend - Continued movement when the edge of the touchpad is reached by lifting and repositioning the finger to continue motion.
• "Control-click" functionality with the lower right button and the corner tap zone.

Cirque Corporation does not provide drivers for the Macintosh platform.

USBOverdrive for Macintosh Shareware Application information
Users that wish to customize their input devices on the Macintosh platform may find the USBOverdrive utility, created by Alessandro Levi Montalcini of interest. This shareware utility has been reported to augment the capabilities of the touchpad and allow for more customization of the touchpad features.

Cirque Corporation has tested our USB GlidePoint products with the USBOverdrive utility on a limited basis. The USBOverdrive utility should enable vertical scrolling capability, and augmenting overall control of pointer motion.
