The Freestyle Separated Keyboard (Freestyle Solo) comes with optional accessories to enhance its ergonomic value. These accessories include:

The Freestyle VIP Accessory
The Freestyle VIP accessory is the ideal replacement for other adjustable and tented keyboards such as the Kinesis Maxim Adjustable Keyboard and the Goldtouch Adjustable Keyboard. The VIP accessory offers:

Left and Right V-Lifters that are easily attached to the bottom of the Solo allowing the user to quickly alternate the slope of the keyboard from 10° to 15° whenever desired.

Left and Right Integrated Padded Palm supports that simply attach to the front of the Solo, and are included to keep wrists in a neutral position while typing at either tenting slope.

Optional usage, with or without the pivot/tether. The pivot/tether connects the two keying modules of the Solo keyboard together. Disconnect the pivot/tether if greater separation is required.

A highly stable typing platform with no 'bounce'.
The Freestyle Incline Accessory
The Freestyle Incline accessory is the ideal replacement for fixed split and tented keyboards such as the Microsoft Natural. The Incline accessory offers:

10° fixed tenting of both keyboard modules.

Adjustable splay (up to 30°) of both keyboard modules.

Padded palm supports for added comfort.

Keyboard modules that may be unmounted from the base without tools for individuals that require greater separation but no tenting.
The Freestyle Ascent Accessory
The Freestyle Ascent accessory is the ideal replacement for fixed split and tented keyboards such as the SafeType. The Ascent accessory offers:

20° - 90° fixed tenting of either keyboard modules.

Adjustable linking plate for additional extension (requires 20" cable for maximum separation).

Optional padded palm supports for added comfort (most aptly suited for the lower tent settings of 20, 30 and 40 degrees).

Keyboard modules are mounted with tools to the Ascent accessory. The additional weight of the accessory (constructed of heavy metal - 4 lbs in total), together with this secure mounting mechanism, make the Ascent extremely stable and safe to use.
The Freestyle V3 Accessory
The Freestyle V3 accessory is the ideal accessory to allow tenting in a circumstance where palm supports are not desired, and offers a similar feature set to keyboards such as the Kinesis Maxim Adjustable Keyboard and the Goldtouch Adjustable Keyboard. The V3 accessory offers:
- Left and Right V-Lifters that are easily attached to the bottom of the Solo allowing the user to quickly alternate the slope of the keyboard from 5°, 10° to 15° whenever desired.
- Optional usage, with or without the pivot/tether. The pivot/tether connects the two keying modules of the Solo keyboard together. Disconnect the pivot/tether if greater separation is required.

The Freestyle Palm Supports Accessory
The Freestyle Palm Supports accessory is available to those who do not require or want any tenting of the keyboard. The Palm Supports accessory offers:

Left and Right Supports that are easily attached to the front of the Solo allowing extra support for your palms when not typing.
- Optional usage, with or without the pivot/tether. The pivot/tether connects the two keying modules of the Solo keyboard together. Disconnect the pivot/tether if greater separation is required.

Palm supports come as part of the VIP and Incline accessories or can be added as an accessory by themselves. They cannot, however, be used when using the V3 accessory. Therefore, if you want both palm supports and tenting, get the VIP accessory; if you want just tenting and no palm supports, get the V3 accessory; if you want just the palm supports, get the palm supports only. You also have the option of adding palm pads to your palm supports for extra comfort.

Reduction of Excessive Pronation of the Wrist and Forearm (VIP and Incline Accessories)

The two angled tenting achieved by the VIP accessory (and the 10° of the Incline) will help relieve excessive pronation or twisting of the wrists and forearms by allowing your hands to tilt towards a more neutral or natural position (ideally the vertical position sometimes called the 'handshake' position). The 10° and 15° tenting is enough to provide relief without forcing the user to become a 'touch typist' (someone who no longer needs to see the keys being typed).
For those with more severe wrist problems, the Ascent acessory will give them up to 90° tenting, thereby keeping their hands in a vertical or 'handshake' position and giving them maximum benefit.

Reduction of Excessive Extension of the Wrist (VIP and Incline Accessories)

The padded palm supports of both the VIP and Incline accessories will help to reduce the excessive extension of the wrists by providing a resting place for your palms. This is especially important with tenting mechanisms, since the palm will normally be raised far above the level of the desk on which the keyboard is placed.

In fact, the 8" cable connecting the two halves of the keyboard allows one to position those halves wherever one wishes, and the VIP accessory will not limit your choices. Even with the pivot tether joining the two halves, the VIP accessory can still be used, effectively recreating other adjustable/separated keyboards like the Maxim or Goldtouch keyboards. Thus the VIP accessory is the most versatile accessory that can be used with the Freestyle Solo.
