The Twin Adjustable Saddle Chair with Backrest from Kanewell features the same comfortable split-saddle seat as the Twin Adjustable Saddle Stools. Along with seat width and angle adjustments, however, this model adds a large, generously padded fixed backrest for users who would benefit from the security of a seat back. (See note below.)

The 360° Arm Accessory from Kanewell can rotate to any position around the seat, enabling it to be used as an armrest for either the left or right arm, as a forward leaning or elbow support, or as a stretcher bar for the back. It can easily be locked into position when stability is required. The height of the 360° Arm Support is also adjustable so users are able to move it to the elevation that offers them the most suitable support. The 360° Arm Support can be used by anyone who may need to stabilize themselves while leaning. Dentists and Dental Assistants who are often leaning in or forward are able to let the Arm Support bear their weight, reducing strain and muscle fatigue in the lower back. Leaning against a stable fixed support also ensures a greater degree of control, making this accessory a valid consideration for anyone required to stretch outside of their immediate comfort zone while completing tasks requiring fine control or dexterity.

The 360° Arm Accessory features a thick layer of polyurethane foam which creates a supportive but cushioned resting surface. The high quality vinyl upholstery is resistant to a wide range of common cleaning solution making it suitable for applications were regular cleaning is required.Note: It is generally recommended that any cleaner be carefully tested in an inconspicuous location prior to full application. Sample testing swatches are available in advance upon request if there is concern regarding a particular cleaning agent.

The 360° Arm Accessory comes as a kit which includes both the 360° Arm Support Accessory as well as a replacement pneumatic spring. Installation on a new Kanewell Twin Adjustable Saddle Stool is done with ease, as part of the stool assembly. Retrofitting a fully assembled Stool requires removal and replacement of the existing gas lift cylinder with the unit included in the kit, thereby ensuring that the Stool retains is original range of height adjustment.

The HNDSFREE Saddle Seats from ErgoVerse are ideal for use where seat height adjustments may need to be made while the hands are otherwise engaged. The Foot Release Plate enables quick, easy, hands-free adjustment of the seat height from any point around the chair. Additionally, the straddle position ensures that the feet are well-planted for exceptional stability and upper body control, providing superior upper torso mobility and range of motion. The full 360° of free rotation facilitates easy alignment to patients and equipment or to reach other work areas as needed. The seat can be tilted forward up to 15°, and the gas lift cylinder allows the height of the seat to be adjusted from 24.8" to 30.3", making both models suitable for individuals ranging in heights from 5'7" to 6'2".

Equipped with special braking castors, HNDSFREE Saddle Seats also roll freely when occupied but stop moving as soon as weight is removed. This innovative feature enhances the overall safety of the work environment, and helps maintain focus on the task at hand.

Both models of the HNDSFREE Saddle Seat feature easily cleaned Black Imitation Leather upholstery and a chromium-plated steel base for durability.

Model HSS-B-11209 offers all of the above features, with the addition of a padded, height and angle adjustable back support. The support is 8.5" wide by 10.5" high with a shallow curvature making it suitable for all body types.

The two HNDSFREE Saddle Seat models offer different styles of saddle. The saddle on the standard non-backrest model is a more traditional saddle shape, deeply dished and with overall larger dimensions, especially in the depth. This makes it better suited to those with larger builds. The back rest model has a saddle that is shallower in depth (front to back) and also flatter, making it more suitable to average or smaller individuals or where a more traditional stool height may occasionally be required.

Note: Sitting on a Saddle Seat creates a seating elevation higher than a standard chair. Saddle stools are therefore not generally recommended for use at a fixed-height office desk. The Salli MultiAdjuster features a lockable, adjustable version of Salli's patented split saddle seat design. This seat is designed to correctly position the user in such a way that their back is moved into an optimum upright posture. Weight is transferred onto the sitting bones and off of soft tissue, reducing uncomfortable pressure points. The MultiAdjuster feature permits width and splay adjustment of the independent halves and combines these features with a forward tilt option to further improve back posture for those desiring a greater forward tilt or who, in the course of their work, lean forward repeatedly or for extended periods. The infinitely variable forward tilt lowers the front of the saddle and reduces pressure in the lower pelvic region. The MultiAdjuster's design encourages an upright stance and open core which facilitates upper-body movement and can provide many of the benefits currently being attributed to Standing Workstations without the necessity of being on one's feet throughout the day.

Note: If the concept of width and splay adjustment has appeal but static sitting is not desired the SwingFit might be the solution as it features the same width/splay adjustment but combines it with a unique rocking mechanism which permits free seat movement in all directions.

Height adjustment of the gas spring lift is accomplished through a standard hand-controlled height adjustment lever. Available lift sizes and the corresponding heights they accommodate are as follows: Short (4'0" to 5'2"), Mid (5'1" to 6'1") and Tall (5'8" to 6'5"). The 5-point star base and lift are in an attractive chrome finish. The total weight of the chair is 11.1 kg (24.4 lb).The MultiAdjuster is only available by Special Order and can be purchased upholstered in either genuine leather or polyurethane faux leather, each available in a range of colours.

The NOSTND Perching Comfort PLUS Saddle Seat from ErgoVerse is designed to position the torso and arms as close as possible to a raised workstation, particularly those built on top of base cabinets or shelves. Unlike the seats on a leaning seat or traditional stool, the large plush saddle on the NOSTND is designed to be straddled. Seated posture on the NOSTND is more upright, with the heels positioned behind the bend of the knees, rather than extended forward of the knees as they would be in a leaning position. This posture allows individuals to move in much closer to flat-fronted work surfaces than might otherwise be possible. As a result, the NOSTND Perching Comfort PLUS Saddle Seat helps to reduce the risk of overreach injuries to the shoulders and back, and the risk of injury to the muscles of the sides and mid-section caused by sitting sideways along the base of the workstation and twisting at the waist to get close enough to its surface. By providing a centrally supported seat that bears the upper body weight, the NOSTND also helps to reduce the load generally borne by the feet and legs. Overall fatigue, and the risk of strain on the joints and tissues of the lower limbs can be greatly reduced.

Both the saddle style seat and the large back feature 3" cushioning; and both are height adjustable. The height of the seat can be adjusted between 23.25" and 28.75". The height adjustment range of the back is determined by the seat position. A convenient handle and large rollers on the rear glides let the NOSTND be moved with ease when required. The NOSTND dual rectangular steel tube base is rated to support up to 440 pounds.

If a more traditional style of seat is preferred, the RSTMOR Drafting PLUS Chair, which is also rated to 440 pounds might be a consideration.

The Salli Chin is a more economical model of the premium Salli Twin model, and provides all the orthopedic support and benefits that come from the patented split saddle seat design. The Chin differs in that it has a lighter seat frame, standard (as compared to premium) components, and only one colour option.

The split saddle seat design maintains the natural shape of the spine, strongly influencing the user to have good posture while sitting and working. The gap allows the tailbone to 'float', minimizing soft tissue pressures and spinal loads. The width of the two halves of the saddle seat are fixed and cannot adjust but the design accommodates most individuals body types.

A standard hand-controlled height adjustment lever for adjustment of the gas spring lift accommodates most adults. Available lift sizes and the corresponding heights they accommodate are as follows: Short (4'0" to 5'2, Mid (5'1" to 6'1") and Tall (5'8" to 6'5"). The 5-point star base and lift are in an attractive chrome finish.The Salli Chin is is available in either Black Leather or Black Polyurethane (synthetic leather).

The EQUSIT Saddle Drafting Chair from ErgoVerse features a heavily padded, tilting, bicycle-style seat mounted to an elevated heavy duty steel frame. A gas spring provides a cushioned seat height range from 27.75" to 36.6", sufficient to provide a suitable seating height for most individuals working at elevated workstations. The wide back features 2" thick cushioning and has independent height and angle adjustments to optimize the comfort and ergonomic positioning.

Two footrest options are available. Model ESDC-83015 features a large 22.8" diameter heavy steel footring that includes a convenient height-adjustable (minimum of 9" above the floor) 360° fixed footrest. Model ESDC-F-83016 features a folding height-adjustable (also to a minimum height of 9") 120° footrest with angle adjustment. For safety, the steel footplate has an aggressively treaded surface. Both styles of footrest can be secured at greater elevations if necessary.

Both models also have oversized 27" diameter Chromed Steel bases equipped with glides. The large base and glides ensure stability when mounting and dismounting from the saddle. If desired, the base on Model ESDC-F-83016 can be folded flat for storage.

Polo Saddle Seats from Score combine the comfort and ergonomics of a saddle seat with the concept of "active seating". The design permits 5° of pivoting movement in all directions through a pivot point integrated into the base. Unlike some other products that one leans back into or perches on, the Score Polo Saddle Seat provides a central support that bears the entire weight of the torso and upper limbs. This minimizes the strain on the legs and encourages individuals to actively use their legs to engage the hips and torso in the movement facilitated by the pivot action. This pivoting capability allows the Polo saddle to move and shift throughout the day. The light-weight portable seat is easily moved between locations or set aside when transitioning to a standing position. A simple lever-activated gas cylinder adjusts the seat to serve for surfaces of varying heights. The small 15.75" diameter base also makes the Polo ideal for anyone creating a workstation that includes sitting and standing, with a range suitable for people from 4'9" to 6'2" tall. By providing an in-between seating option for short-term tasks, the transition to a standing position becomes almost effortless. The Polo offers enough support to keep fatigue at bay, while still permitting a full 360° rotation, combined with the freedom to flex forward, backward and laterally.

The Polo Saddle Seat is currently only in stock with the smaller Amazone saddle that is a slightly narrower fit or "cut" than many other saddle seats and has a moderate pommel rise at the front. The smaller dimensions make it better suited for use by those of slender or petite builds. The narrower cut also means that it can accommodate positions higher than the 45° downward thigh angle commonly recommended for saddle sitting.

The MVMNT Foldable Perching Saddle Seat from ErgoVerse is a non-swiveling, folding saddle seat designed for smaller or average sized individuals working at standard or elevated workstations.

The saddle design keeps the toes either in line with the knees (which are splayed and drawn back toward the hips), or even further back - below the hips, rather than extended forward of the knees as they would be on a leaning stool. This makes it possible to work at surfaces built on top of base cabinets or shelves, something that is not possible with traditional chairs (where the knees are too far forward) or leaning/perching seats (where the feet and knees are too far forward). The MVMNT also keeps the torso in an ergonomically desirable upright position, while at the same time providing stability and reducing the need to bend forward from the waist. This posture is especially beneficial when fine control is needed or when greater effort must be exerted. The small back rest offers temporary support for those who like to lean back occasionally to rest their back.

The height of the seat can be adjusted from 20.9" high to 30.7" high. The height of the back rest adjusts independently so individuals are able to position support where it is most needed. The seat and back rest are both padded for comfort and upholstered in black imitation leather for easy cleaning. The MVMNT features a foldaway, adjustable-height, foot-bar to provide a secure base of support when the chair is elevated too high for foot-to-floor contact.

The MVMNT features simple folding hinges, and easy handwheel adjustment of seat, back and footrest heights. The MVMNT is built on a sturdy, rectangular tube steel base that is rated to 264 lbs. Weighing only 18.7 lbs in total, the MVMNT can also be easily transported between venues or job sites.

The PYRCH Saddle Seat from ErgoVerse encourages the adoption of a partially elevated upright stance that encourages more upper body activity, better and deeper breathing, and improved overall blood flow. This type of posture offers a greater range of reach and can also lead to a higher degree of alertness. The upright position also makes it easy to return to a fully standing position, reducing stress on the knees.

When seated on the PYRCH Saddle Seat, the legs are positioned in a wider stance than is possible on a leaning stool or standard chair. Because the saddle can be elevated to any height between 26" and 35.8" it can serve the needs of a wide range of individuals, even those working at elevated workstations. The saddle can also be tilted forward up to 15° and offers a full 360° of free rotation. This capacity for full rotation makes the PYRCH a practical solution for workers who may need to swivel between different work surfaces when accessing parts or equipment. When the seat pan is tilted the PYRCH can also provide a limited degree of leaning capability.
