The VerticalMouse 4 is the latest generation of the well-known Evoluent mouse. The uniquely patented contoured design transforms the traditional palm down mousing position to a vertical handshake position which offers increased comfort for many users. A number of improvements were included in this 4th iteration including a larger flange along the bottom of the mouse to prevent the user's fifth finger from dragging on the desk. The thumb rest has been improved to provide even more comfort and reduced grip force requirements over earlier versions.

Performance based improvements include an easier-to-access pointer speed control button on the side of the mouse allowing the user to select between Extra Low, Low, Medium and High, giving users the ability to select the degree of precision they require for each task. An additional thumb button can also be assigned once a driver is installed.

The standard VerticalMouse 4 is available in both right and left-handed models, and comes in a dark grey housing with silver buttons. A small version of this mouse is also available only in a right handed model, and is easily distinguished as it has a black housing with purple buttons. This is a wireless version of the popular Evoluent VerticalMouse 3. It uses a 2.4 GHz wireless method of transmission with a 30' range and estimated 3 month battery life. This wireless model features a fixed 1200 DPI optical sensor and has the same shape as the corded model. At present the wireless unit comes in a right-handed model only, with a black housing and smoke (dark silver) buttons, and comes in environmentally-friendly packaging. [less]

The VerticalMouse 3 is the third generation of the popular Evoluent mouse. A new feature added to Revision 2 of this mouse allows the user to set the resolution to 2600, 1800, 1300 or 800 DPI using a button and indicator light on the underside of the mouse. This makes adjusting pointer speed easier and further improves tracking - note the mouse is shipped with the resolution at 1800 DPI.

This keyboard is 'mouse-friendly' for right handed individuals as they can put the mouse where the numeric keypad would normally be, and still have access to the keypad with their left hand when needed. The compact layout allows this keyboard to be used in situations where conventional left handed keyboards will not fit. This is the only compact keyboard with a numeric keypad on the left side.
